It primarily acquires, develops, and rehabilitates, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, and mixed-use properties. Interwest Capital was looking to reduce their energy bills for the Viridian Lofts parking facility in downtown San Diego which operates 24/7 year-round. The T8 fluorescent lighting in the garage was not efficient and required regular maintenance due to the high hours of operation. Interwest Capital wanted to reduce energy while enhancing the safety and security of the garage occupants.

By selecting LED fixtures with integrated and tunable motion sensors we were able to decrease energy consumption by 70%. Mynt Systems facilitated all aspects of securing a rebate for over 20% of the project cost and a 36 month interest free loan from San Diego Gas & Electric to finance the project balance.
