We made the Inc. Regionals

Named to the 2026 Inc. Regionals Pacific list in our twelfth year, and a read on why energy is now part of every real estate deal.

We made the Inc. Regionals

It’s that time of year again and we made the 2026 Inc. Regionals Pacific list! This recognizes the west coast’s fastest growing companies across all different sectors. We are honored to be a part of this list for yet another year. In a happy coincidence, we also just celebrated our 12th birthday as a company (we got new signs on the building too)!

Over the years, we have built an incredible community of team members, clients, and partners to help build this dream of providing clean power to as many people as possible. While the path nowhere near ending, it was a cool moment to reflect on how we got here. Here’s to another 12 years!

Energy economics are now part of real estate deals

Commercial and industrial (C&I) is at a crossroads at the moment. The demand has never been higher due to data center and logistics. But the issue is that many of these operators and tenants are thinking about their energy bill. While the conflict in the Middle East shined a spotlight on it, it was already a topic around the table in key meetings. With energy consumption only increasing across the United States, energy is becoming as important as water rights.

To combat the problem, it is more about thinking about a short-term strategy and a long-term strategy versus a one-size-fits-all solution. In the short-term, getting access to energy is the bottleneck. Long interconnection queues, permitting, supply chain and safe harbor, generation is just difficult at the moment. Battery storage (using many different technologies), is becoming a must-have in an energy strategy to maintain 24/7 reliable energy to a building. In the long-term, the energy asset coupled with front-of-the-meter revenue (VPPs) is essentially the equivalent of building oil infrastructure when it was invented.

Our recommendation is to read up on energy strategies in real estate. More specifically, the flow from generation to storage to distribution.

We cut the ribbon in West Sacramento with AMPS-EV and Quick-Quack

We like to think that rain brings good luck, despite us generating a lot of power from the sun. Luck seemed to be on our side at Quick Quack in West Sacramento when the team showed up to cut the ribbon on our new EV Charging Station. This was the result of true collaboration with Quick Quack, the state of California, and Climatize. The development funds for the station were raised from the community and we got to meet some during the ribbon cutting. We have a video coming out in the next few weeks that talks a lot more about the project so stay tuned!
